Recipe: Tropical Pineapple Shrimp Bowl
Embark on a Tropical Adventure with this Summer Flavor Sensation!
All you need for our sun-soaked BBQ recipe with pineapple and shrimp are your flip-flops, shorts, and sunscreen - and, of course, the ingredients below. Get ready to grill and savor the taste of summer!
Ingredients for 4 portions:
- 1 pineapple
- 2 chili peppers
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 2 limes
- 1 scallion
- 800 grams of shrimp
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil

Preparation Method:
Preheat your Kamado for direct heat up to 250 degrees Celsius. Place the cast iron skillet on the grate to preheat.
Cut the pineapple in half and remove the core with a spoon. Hollow out the pineapple further and cut the pineapple flesh into pieces.
Chop the garlic, chili peppers, and scallion. Make a small cut in the shrimp so they curl nicely when cooking.
Add some olive oil to the pre-heated skillet and cook the shrimp. Then add the chopped garlic, chili peppers, and scallion. Finally, add the pineapple pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
Place the hollowed-out pineapple halves on the Kamado grill grate to get nice grill marks.
Grate some lime zest over the cooked shrimp for extra freshness.
Serve the cooked shrimp in the hollowed-out pineapple halves and enjoy this delicious Tropical Pineapple Shrimp Bowl.
