Recipe: Cinnamon Rolls from the Loaf 'n Bread Dutch Oven
Ingredients
- 1 can of croissant dough
- 1 handful currants
- Cinnamon
- Sugar
Additional requirements
- Loaf 'n Bread Dutch Oven
- Parchment paper
Instructions
- Soak the currants in warm, but not boiling, water for 15 minutes.
- Roll out the croissant dough into a long rectangular sheet and sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon over the dough.
- Drain the currants, pat them dry, and spread them over the dough.
- Roll up the dough lengthwise and cut it into 8 equal pieces.
- Take the Loaf 'n Bread Dutch Oven, line the inside with parchment paper, and place the rolled-up dough pieces upright in the pan. Make sure to put parchment paper between the dough pieces as well.
- Place the Loaf 'n Bread Dutch Oven in a barbecue at 190 degrees Celsius, or place briquettes under the pan and on the lid. Check after 15-20 minutes if the dough is cooked. Let it cook a bit longer if necessary.
