Firepit sticks: 5 snacks for you and the kids

Cooking over the fire used to be a daily necessity, but these days it’s turned into a beloved hobby for many. The charm of outdoor cooking not only brings the flavors of nature to your dishes but also creates a unique atmosphere of togetherness. Whether you’re an experienced chef or just curious about the outdoors, there’s always something new to learn and discover.

We’ve gathered some inspiration to help you make the most of our firepit sticks. From tasty recipes to handy tips, let your creativity run wild and enjoy the unique experiences that outdoor cooking has to offer!

      1. Marshmallows

Okay, it’s a classic, but let’s be honest—roasting marshmallows over the campfire brings out the kid in all of us!

      2. Saussages

Another classic! Don’t miss out on roasting sausages over the campfire. Add some bread, and you’ve got a delicious treat!

      3. Bread & Croissants

This one takes a bit more prep, but once you have your dough ready, you can bake fresh rolls over the fire. For breadsticks, wrap the dough around the skewers. For croissants, wrap the dough around the stick and bake it for about 10 minutes until golden brown. Feel free to add cheese, chocolate, or even a pre-cooked sausage inside. It’s going to get messy, but that’s part of the fun!

      4. Vegetables & Fruit!

Roasting fruit is so tasty! Try delicious chunks of pineapple, peach, or watermelon. Vegetables also do well over the fire, like zucchini, bell peppers, eggplant, and stuffed mushrooms.

For baked apples: remove the core and fill the apple with raisins and cinnamon. Wrap it in aluminum foil, stick it on the fire, and keep it close until it’s soft. Sure, you could throw them directly in the fire, but this way is way more fun!

You can also roast sweet potatoes and pumpkin—just cook them first so they get tender, then season with cumin and cayenne pepper.

      5. Corn on the Cob

Boil the cobs for about 10 minutes, then pierce them with the firepit stick. Roast them for 10-15 minutes over the fire and let them cool. Enjoy!

And remember to turn everything regularly to avoid burning. Enjoy your meal!
